You can say what you like about Ronaldo, but it’s hard to ignore the fact he’s one hell of a footballer. This goal last night against Porto in the Champions League typifies his ability. To even attempt something like this is ridiculous - to actually get it on target and beat the goalkeeper is simply extraordinary.

The main difference here is that Apple has always replaced the old or outgoing technology with a superior alternative (e.g. ADB replaced with USB, SCSI replaced with FireWire). On the new MacBook’s there’s no superior (or even comparable) alternative to FireWire.

Featuring a built-in 3MP camera, an SD card slot, built-in web browser (Opera?) and access to the ‘DSi Shop’ - an online store to download games, video and music to the console. It’s also a little bit thinner and the screens are a bit bigger (3.25in).

Due out in Japan next month, no word yet on availability in the UK. Good luck getting your hands on one in time for Christmas!

Evernote Launches API

After years storing various notes and clippings in xPad, Stickies and text files, I’ve started using Evernote to organise it all. It’s working out well and I’ve been very impressed by the quality of the UI and tight web synchronization. With the news today of the API launch we should see some interesting integration with more 3rd party apps too.
